Radar Reflector SOLAS/MED

The Radar Reflector SOLAS/MED is a lightweight, inflatable radar reflector designed to enhance the radar visibility of life rafts and rescue boats during emergency situations. Certified to SOLAS/MED standards, it improves detection by nearby vessels, increasing the likelihood of a rapid rescue.

When deployed at a minimum height of 1.5 metres above the water, the reflector provides effective radar visibility and is capable of being detected from distances of up to 4 nautical miles under appropriate conditions.

Constructed from a durable PVC inflatable balloon with an aluminized polyester corner reflector, the unit is lightweight, compact, and easy to stow as part of emergency survival equipment.
