High Seas

The HighSeas+ Desalination Filter is a portable, multi-use pouch that turns salt water into a clean, hydrating drink and provides up to 600 calories per use that would be critical in a survival situation. The HighSeas+ works by osmosis, the natural way of filtering water. The HighSeas+ is our most durable and robust desalination filter.

To use, simply fill the red port with seawater (or any available water**) and inject the contents of one syrup bottle through the green port. The pouch’s membrane filter will block salt and other contaminants while drawing clean water into the inner chamber. No pumping or manipulation is required. **If freshwater is available instead of salt water, use only 1/2 bottle per use.

Use Instructions

1] Fill pouch with sea water through red port.
2] Inject one nutrient syrup bottle through green port (1/2 bottle with fresh water).
3] Wait 5 hours (@20C) or up to 8 hours (@5C).
4] Open red port and discard remaining sea water.
5] Pour drink from green port into clean container.
6] Drink slowly, as drink is high in sugar content. Drink within 24 hours.
7] Discard the HighSeas+ ten days after first use.
8] When not filtering, keep red port closed.

Storage and Shelf Life

Best By date: 5 years after packaging date when stored continuously below 90°F (33°C). If possible, store in cool place and away from direct sunlight.
